You can spend years going to bed at 5a.m. and surfing the web with dark bags under your eyes like I did figuring out what works and what doesn't.

My names Petalac and with my husband Alan, we are going to try and help you get started working from home.

We have put together some of the online businesses that we are currently members of at the moment and making money from.

And we will show you how to get loads of traffic to your blog.

We are not millionaires like some of the home business gurus say that they are.We are just a couple of everyday people trying to make enough money on the net to pay our bills and have a little left over to spend on ourselves and our family.

In our first year we made only $13,000, but we really done it tough, we had no help or any idea about how to make money online,we spent many months and long hours searching the web, but every thing we associated ourselves with, we either got ripped off or the companies never lived up to there promises of riches.

The products on this site are just some of the ones that are currently working for us.

We are doing pretty well with these at the moment, but hey some of them may not be what your looking for,but may give you some ideas.

We have have test drivin hundreds of ways of making money on the net over the years and have been scammed many many times.The products on our site are the ones that are currently working for us.

Be warned though 90% of sites we have test drivin didnt work, make sure you report these companies if ripped off and warn others like we have.

The best start we got with our home business was to become members of IAHBE (International Association of Home Entrepeneurs) they gave us all the resources, tools and guidance we needed to turn our business into the great success it is today.

Some sites we have partnered with, are providing us with a residual income,these affiliations will guarantee our long-term financial future for ourselves and family.

Most of the other companies pay us a commission or wage.

So if you are still unsure of how you can make some money from the web, have a look around and see what you think.

I can only review and tell you what sites are paying my husband Alan and I at this time.

What is affiliate marketing?

A merchant, also known as an advertiser or retailer, is a web site or company that sells a product or service online, accepts payments and fulfills orders.

Affiliates (also called publishers) place merchants' ads, text links, or product links on their web sites, shopping engines, blogs, etc. or include them in e-mail campaigns and search listings in exchange for commissions on leads or sales.

Babylon affiliate program is another great earner with a higher than normal commision percentage.

Paid Surveys

This is a great way to make money at your own pace.

These companys charge a one time only registration fee ,because they only want serious job applicants filling out their surveys. If they allowed access to the surveys, for free like other free sites that pay people a small fee or offer discounts on goods, they would have "curiosity" applicants, filling out survey applications that were not really serious about the surveys, and taking up applications intended for serious job applicants,This is why they pay you a lot more money for their surveys.

A survey is normally a page or two of questions. Surveys can range from 10 to 30 questions. They are normally short and take little time to fill out. Focus groups on the other hand are normally longer forms that can sometimes follow you for a few days about a particular subject. They might ask you a series of questions, receive your response and then ask you another series of questions. Because of this they pay much more. You can participate in surveys, focus groups or both depending on the time you have available.

Most paid survey opportunities require that you are at least 18 years of age, but other than that there are no specific requirements. Some companies will only accept survey takers in the USA, but most are looking for Survey takers from all over the world. Because of this, they have listed which companies are US only and which are International. This makes it easy to know which to apply to depending on where you live.

They are the only companys we know of that lists this type of information.

The best one so far for us has been Express pay.
